YOGA HAS RETURNED
YOGA HAS RETURNED
Yoga will be on Friday and Saturday mornings from now until June 28th. Classes are 45 minutes and will take place in G1 gallery. Participants will have the opportunity to watch The New Immersive Van Gogh after their class. We will also have Parent partner yoga on Sunday's from May 4th - May 18th. For parents and kids (ages 6 - 17) to move, breathe and play together.

Thank you to all the staff who contributed to opening this exhibit. Your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. The exhibit has received a great deal of positive feedback from the public, and that success is a direct result of your efforts. Well done, and thank you again for making this a success!
DARKTRACE
DARKTRACE
On April 24th, we hosted a private event for Darktrace in Gallery Two. The event featured an afternoon session of keynote speakers, followed by an evening dedicated to social networking.
To accommodate the guests, we arranged a coffee and tea station available throughout the day. In the evening, a full bar offering beer and wine, accompanied by a selection of passed hors d'oeuvres. The event provided a welcoming and professional environment for both formal presentations and informal networking.

Although from the looks of this photo it seems like no one attended our staff appreciation night, I can assure you that people definitely were there! We want to thank all of you who joined our Paint and Sip night on April 8th. Special thank you to Inaki for organizing the event and raffle.
ROCK STAR OF THE MONTH
We wanted to let you know that we've brought back our Rock Star of the Month initiative. This program is our way of recognizing employees who go above and beyond in their department. This month's department is Box Office.
Each month, a different department will be responsible for selecting an employee who has demonstrated outstanding work. The selected employee will receive a $100.00 bonus before tax as a token of our appreciation. The winner will be announced via email at the end of each month.
Last Months Rock Star was Scott F from Front of House Operations.

For next month, the Retail Team will be in charge of selecting an outstanding employee.

COMMUNITY BOARD
This is the first month we reached out and asked if there were any events or things that you would like to share with each other that you're participating in outside of Lighthouse.
You can find all information in our menu section of our website. If you would like to have something posted on the community board, please email Toronto.manager@lighthouseimmersive.com with the subject line "community Board". It's helpful to include as much information as possible so we can distribute this to staff. Some or all of the following would be acceptable:
Event name and description
Date and time
Location
Social media links or website (if applicable)
Any photos or videos you'd like to share

Mother's Day - May 11th - Tickets are on sale now for a special promotion we are having for mothers day. When patrons purchase our Mother's Day Tea Ticket they will receive a wristband upon entry and this will let us know that they are here for our mother's day promotion. They will have a chance to experience our stunning New Immersive Van Gogh exhibition and also receive a few perks with the purchase of their ticket. These perks include:
A scone and cake
A gourmet box featuring four finger sandwiches
A self-serve coffee and tea station
Seating to enjoy their refreshments.
Attractions Ontario Reciprocal Program
We are renewing our program with Attractions Ontario Reciprocal Program. This is a province wide initiative for participating attractions. The updated list will be posted in the staff room soon! Please do not share the list anywhere once it has been posted. Thanks!

Every month, each employee has the option to receive two Basic Tickets for The New Immersive Van Gogh The Next Chapter Experience. Below is the process to receive these tickets!
Please send your email 2 days in advance.
These tickets have to be under your name. You are welcome to forward your tickets to friends or family after you receive them, but when submitting a request, they must be under your name.
The Process
Email ticketing.toronto@lighthouseimmersive.com
The email message must include:
1. Your full name
2. Your email address
3. Number of complimentary tickets requested
4. Date and time that you wish to attend
