Missing Child or Vulnerable Person
Missing Child or Vulnerable Person
Any child or vulnerable person that communicates with staff that they are lost, disoriented, confused or have been separated from their guardian/ rest of their Party.
Any parent, caretaker, etc. who communicates with staff that they are unable to locate their child.
Any young child we see wandering the venue alone or without a guardian for an extended period of time.
Using our judgement in these situations is a must as the child may have been given permission by their guardian to do so and wouldn't be cause for concern. Always talk to the child or person involved in the situation to see if they are in distress to verify if a full Code Yellow needs to be called.
Once a code yellow is identified, call for a supervisor to your location immediately.
If a child is missing, inform security and have them patrol the entire venue as well as outside of the building with a description of the missing child.
Do not let the person leave the venue alone, assist them in looking around the venue for their party.
If the code yellow is called for a missing child, always have the child confirm that the adult claiming to know them actually does, do not let them go without confirmation.
