Possible Immediate Danger
Possible Immediate Danger
Level 1: Suspicious package or person(s) in building/venue.
Level 2: Contained - Identified threat. Security and/or management acting on.
Level 3: Definite threat - Awaiting instructions/ next steps from security/911, possible evacuation of all staff and patrons.
Any suspicious person(s) or packages left unattended in the venue must be monitored at all times, if a package or person is deemed a threat the following protocols will be put in place.
At the first sign of a Code Black, venue security MUST be informed first and immediately. AVMs and Supervisors on-site will rendezvous with venue and building security to action the appropriate amount of caution and a potential lock down or evacuation of the building.
If you encounter someone you feel is suspicious, or see what you identify as a threat, leave the area immediately and leave the building if possible. If you cannot exit the building, lock yourself in a room or office and secure other possible entrances or exits, then call for a supervisor or AVM to inform them of what you saw or were suspicious of.
After supervisors, security and AVMs are all aware of the situation and have discussed the potential threat with building security - 911 will be called.
PACKAGE: if there is a confirmed threat with a suspicious package left
within the building, an evacuation must occur. All shows will be stopped.
PERSON(S): If there is a suspicious and potentially dangerous person
within the building the venue will do one of two things;
Evacuation
All patrons and staff will evacuate the building as safely and as quickly as possible.
Supervisors, AVMs, and Venue Security will oversee this process to ensure everyone exits the building safely.
Lockdown
All patrons and staff will remain inside the venue until given the ok by either security or law enforcement. Doors will be locked and secured - no one is to enter or leave the venue until the all clear is given.
