What's a better way to a staff member's heart than a kitchen full of snacks? We would like to provide easy to cook/eat snacks (individual servings only) that teachers/staff can grab to eat for lunch or for a snack or a pick-me-up. If you would like to donate, please sign up below. Students will receive volunteer hours for donating (1 hr = 1 packaged item, with 3 hours being the most given)
Thank you for your interest in supporting students through volunteering! Frisco ISD welcomes family and community members interested in volunteering their time. The District currently has more than 18,000 active volunteers, giving thousands of hours of their time each year and is thankful for every single volunteer.
Frisco ISD uses VOLY, a volunteer management system, to post volunteer opportunities and find volunteers. To volunteer on one of our campuses, you will need to create a VOLY account by visiting https://friscoisd.voly.org. VOLY will send you customized emails with opportunities that may interest you for volunteering.
FISD Board Policy requires that each volunteer and/or mentor undergo a background check before working with students. You will be prompted to complete the background check during your VOLY account creation process. Keep an eye on your inbox for your background check approval (the process can take up to 3-5 business days). Once approved, you will be able to sign up directly for volunteer opportunities through the VOLY platform.
Family and community members must complete a background check once every year starting in July.
