About Us

Liberty PTSA is a member of the Texas PTA and National PTA. The Parent Teacher Association (National PTA) is the largest child advocacy volunteer organization which speaks for the interest of all children and their safety, health, welfare, and education. PTSA is a partnership at the high school level between parents, students, and educators who strive to enhance student learning and enrich the lives of the students within the school. It is also a forum for parents to obtain knowledge and voice their opinions about what is happening in their school.

TEXAS PTA MISSION

To make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
 

TEXAS PTA PURPOSE

• To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community;

• To raise the standards of home life;

• To advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth;

• To promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth;

• To engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social well-being of all children and youth; and

• To advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding.

When you join the LHS PTSA, you join a community that encourages student achievement and enriches the learning environment at Liberty High School

• ​​Provide Parent Education programs

• Advocate for legislative issues which impact our children

• Coordinate events for each senior class

• Offer scholarship opportunities for seniors 

• Feed our wonderful staff throughout the year and honor them during Teacher Appreciation Week

• Be a voice for all parents and students at LHS
