LHISD Webinars and Continued Learning

In an effort to meet the needs of teachers at both the elementary and secondary levels, LHISD has provided a list of required teacher training that ALL teachers must complete prior to the first day of school.  These trainings are focused on administering beginning of the year universal screeners in a virtual & in-person setting, as well as the online platforms and recording tools that will be offered district-wide. Work with your campus learning coach and administrator for more guidance of the requirements. 

This professional learning will benefit the students and teachers in both virtual and traditional settings. These videos and resources can be utilized by staff, students, parents to maximize student learning experiences. Within each grade level cluster, you will find training options for the online platforms offered at your grade level, as well as additional instructional support. Along with the materials referenced in the charts below, we have also provided an elementary and secondary professional learning GoogleClassroom. 

New teacher orientation provides teachers new to LHISD with an overview of "All Things LHISD" for learning platforms. To continue to support training and assistance in utilizing all learning platforms the GoogleSlides provide an overview of Google, PantherNet, Technology Nuts and Bolts, SuccessEd, Skyward, SeeSaw, Human Resources, Screencastify, Edgenuity, Vivi, Remind, Zoom, Panther Curriculum and other useful tools. All campus learning coaches can provide additional guidance and assistance in all platforms.
