CTE Student OrganizationS

Students enrolled in CTE courses have the opportunity to participate in a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) appropriate to the courses in which they are enrolled. CTSOs promote leadership development, job skill training, and can provide scholarship opportunities.

Bionic Panthers

The Bionic Panthers represent the LHHS Robotics team which competes in UIL Robotics, including FIRST and BEST competitions.  If you are interested in being a part of the Bionic Panthers, please contact the sponsor, Mr. Paschal, or stop by Room 1254.

UIL Academic competitions exist to complement the academic curriculum, are designed to motivate students as they acquire higher levels of knowledge, to challenge students to confront issues of importance, and to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate mastery of specific skills. Students are challenged to think critically and creatively, exhibiting much more than knowledge and comprehension.
