Sojourner Truth spoke to people about slavery and rights. She went to many places to speak about these things. She also had her famous speech called “Ain't I A Woman?” Sojourner Truth wanted people to join the union so that slavery could end. While the war was happening she helped the people who were injured from the war at a hospital. She assigned herself to help the people in the war because the war was important to her.
