The nervous system is made up of three different parts of your body such as the brain, spinal cord, and nerves. The nervous system has two different components, the parts that focuses on the brain and the spinal cord, and the part that focuses on sensory neurons and ganglia, which is just clusters of neurons. The nervous system also has two main subdivisions which are the somatic, and the autonomic. The somatic is in charge of connecting the brain and spinal cord with the muscles and other parts. The autonomic is in charge of keeping the heart pumping, blood pressure at normal, the breathing in check. The body can send a message to your brain in less than a milliseconds. The fastest signal sent up the spinal is about 268 mph (431 km/h) fast. There are over a million of different brain diseases, and illnesses, and many other things.

The humans body command place is in the brain, the way the body moves all day long is by the body sending messages up the spinal cord. The human brain weighs about 3.3 lbs, the brain makes up about 3 percent of the humans weight. The brain contains 86 billion nerve cells, the brain also contains billions of nerve fibers. The largest part of the brain is the cerebrum which has two different parts. There are three sections to a brain which are the forebrain, midbrain and hindbrain. The brain stem is what connects the brain and the spinal cord, that is also where it controls the breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure. When it comes to our brains compared to the animals brains, the bigger your brain is doesn’t determine that you’re very smart. For example a sperm whales brain is much larger than ours but they are less intelligent they we are. The left and right side of the brain, the left side controls the muscles of the right side of the body and the right side of your brain controls the left side of your body.
