Digesting food is important because food gives you energy and so you can keep doing thing you do daily. Your body needs something to produce itself to keep you all worked up and ready for anything.
The food needs to come from the mouth until it reaches the stomach. Once it makes it to the stomach the food starts to turn into a liquid from being dissolved by the stomach acid.
Pooping out waste is important because you don’t want to keep the extras of what you ate in your body. Getting rid of what your body doesn’t always need which is waste is like taking out the trash. It's the extras in your body that already absorbed the nutrients and can no longer be stored in the stomach.
It’s important because without it you wouldn’t really be able to go number 2. Your digestive system is the source of the process turning foods into liquids then waste. Digesting food is something we as all living human, animals ect have. The digestive system is magical factory that turns that once good hamburger you had into something very disgusting and smelly, which we call waste. The digestive system to our health is important too. How it affects our body is how we take care of it or if you have an existing disorder.
