The mouth Is a very important role to the digestive system. The reason why the mouth is an important role is because it helps fight off bad bacteria, it haves saliva the prevents the mouth getting dry, which also helps with swallowing foods.
Well you control your mouth just not the saliva in it or your teeth, but tongue yes. You can control how it moves and how you use it. Your teeth is what breaks up food so you won't have to swallow the food in the form it came in. Without your teeth you wouldn’t be able to have your food mushed up so it can properly go down your throat. So it's best to always take care for your teeth while you have them still.
The mouth is important to our health and body because what if you need to take medicine to cure a cold you have or stop stomach pain? Well, there you have the mouth. The mouth produces saliva which moisturizes the mouth to prevent it from getting dry. The saliva in your mouth also helps you taste, swallow and chew the foods you eat. It also fights germs and prevents bad breath. Pretty cool huh? But don’t always rely on your saliva to prevent bad breath. You got to keep brushing those teeth and keep the mouth clean so it (Saliva) can do its job.
If you brush your teeth for two minutes, twice a day, everyday, for the most of your life, you'll be brushing for 70 between 80 days. That's crazy.
