Clarissa Harlowe Barton was the American Red Cross founder. She was one of the most historical women in American and woman history. She put her life in jeopardy many times to get supplies for wounded soldiers. She started the Red Cross at age 59, and led it for the next 23 years.

One day while giving a soldier some water he suddenly died.
