Hello and welcome to a brand new year in Grade 3! My name is Rachel and I am so excited to start my fourth year at LHCS. I am excited to be returning to the classroom full time and what I love!

I played dress-up for a living at Waterloo Region Museum for 5 years before becoming a teacher. I have a horse named Chianti and a dog named Zoe. I love drama and look forward to incorporating this in our learning time. I lived in England for 10 months and love everything about the country. I love history, geography and inspiring students to love math. I look forward to celebrating our faith in the classroom, learning and growing with each other.

This year we will grow in our study of language and math, solidifying our skills to work independently. In Creation Studies we will learn about Light and Sound, Structures, Forces, Habitats and Communities, Canada and Ancient Civilizations. In Bible we start at the very beginning!

I look forward to watching your child grow and learn. Grade 3 is such an amazing year of growth and together we will work together so that it is the best year (yet!).
