The data manager is a free program that operates on a Windows computer and is used to download the raw scan data from the BLK360 Scanner and the BLK2GO Mobile hand held scanner.
Computers using the BLK360 Data Manager do not have massive processing power but must have a dedicated graphics card and the driver must be updated and Windows must have the BLKDataMng Program set so it forces the graphics card to assist in the download of data off the scanners (G1 G2). See note in Computers Page on Setting the Graphics Setting.
This program is used in field to set the scan settings and download and archive .blk raw scan data files along with BLK2GO walk data.
The program is critical for use in forensics to archive raw scan data from the BLK360.
CLM (Client License Manager) v 2.9

CLM is a program that controls the licenses for Cyclone software.
The program is loaded in conjunction with Cyclone programs and can be accessed by typing CLM in the windows program search box. Users working on a stand alone computer will use the CLM for floating licenses.
The CLM program can be installed on a network to share your EID (Entitlement Identification - Your License) between multiple computers on your network.
EID Licenses can also be checked out and used remotely for up to 90 days.
Contact HDS Support to virtually enable your EID license.
The CLM 1.8.3 version will be no longer supported in 2022 and should be updated to the 2.6.x CLM. Register 360 will not function with CLM 1.8.3 or earlier versions.

Cyclone Cloud is a service where mobile applications are licensed and setup. Register your account, bookmark and record your password. You will need this information.
From your Cyclone Cloud account you can order license your Cyclone Field 360 application, obtain TruView Subscription services, rent additional software licenses.

The Cyclone Field 360 application is a field registration program that operates with the BLK360, RTC360 and Pxx ScanStation scanners. Set scan density, images options, and do in field registration of the scan data along with starting the scanner when placed in difficult to reach positions.
The Cyclone Field 360 mobile application operates on Apple IOS and Android tablets. The tablet or phone must be of a certain type with enough RAM to operate. The Apple Ipad Pro is recommended due to the available ram.
The application is downloaded for free from the respective application store.
Users must create a Cyclone Cloud account and then register a Cyclone Register or Cyclone Register 360 EID license number that has current CCP in order to license 5 seats of the Cyclone Field 360 mobile application.
The first time you activate the Cyclone Field license you must have an internet connection and log into your Cyclone Field account from the tablet.
Operation of Cyclone Field 360 does not require internet access. Every month the license will seek to be re-authenticated and this is done while connected to the internet.
You can operate up to five devices on a single entered Register or Register 360 EID license.

A new wall, ceiling, window & door builder is installed on in CF360 to draw out a modeled room (Flat surfaces). There is a subscription fee for the export license to push out the .ifc model that can be opened in CAD programs like Map360. Look for this new tool May 2021.

Cyclone Register 360 is the newest point cloud registration software.
Register 360 is also offered as a separately licensed version that is limited for working with the BLK360 and BLK2GO. Register 360_BLK v 2022.2
If you have a license for Cyclone Register and have current CCP, Register 360 is provided for your use at no additional cost. Simply install the program and it will use the Register EID license. Only one registration program can be used at a time.

Cyclone is a software suite of modules that are used to work with point cloud data. Each module has different specialty functions. Review your CLM to see which modules you have EID licenses for.
Register: Connect scan data from different locations where the scanner was operated.
Survey: Advanced measurement and ability to work with surfaces as tins and light modeling.
Publisher: The Publisher module is used to create deliverables for viewing point cloud data to a free stand alone viewer called JetStream Viewer or for web distribution in TruView Enterprise.
Cyclone Publisher: Produces .LGS files and TruView Enterprise TVG files for sharing on the internet.
Cyclone Publisher Pro: Produces the LGS and TVG and additionally opens up advanced image management of scanner images along with other advanced publishing features.
TruView Publisher: (Discontinued - EID License is migrated to Cyclone Publisher) With the release of 2020 version of Cyclone publishing of a legacy TruView is no longer supported.
Model: Advanced surface models of scanned surfaces.
Basic: A limited viewing tool that offers viewing and simple measurement ability
Viewer: No license required - View point cloud with no measurement ability.

Cyclone 3DR is a new program (2019) that has integrated 3D Reshaper program with Cyclone and many of the Cyclone Survey Module tools.
A webinar link is provided to give an in depth viewing of the powerful tools offered.
Located in the program Help are links to an extensive beginners guide .pdf and offers training data for download. The meshing and advanced tools offered in Cyclone 3DR are offered as an option to replace the SURVEY Module of Cyclone.

The JetStream Viewer has been rebranded to the name TruView 2021. It is recommended users upgrade.
New features were added to TruView free viewer for LGS files. Some users will continue to use the JSViewer as a no cost end client viewing program that operates in Windows until they migrate over. The viewer opens two types of files; JetStream .jsv and .lgs file.
The JSViewer allows clients the ability to freely move through the point cloud modelspace and view panoramic images from the scan positions.
Viewing of embedded assets like photographs and taking measurements are standard tools.
The .lgs file allows end users the ability to capture images from scanner positions and save a scripted presentation where annotations on the point cloud can be viewed.
The .jsv file does not allow end users as many controls to present like the .lgs provides.
Example: The .jsv file type cannot create snapshots or develop and save presentations.

A portable self extracting version of the JetStream Viewer is offered. This is an older version of the self extracting viewer. A new self extracting viewer is offered for the TruView 2021 viewer.
The JetStreamViewer2020.exe file is placed on a USB drive along with your published .LGS or .JSV file. Sharing the data is possible without having to load the JetStream Viewer program to the Windows viewing computer.
IT Administrator permissions sometimes lock out the loading of software - the Portable Viewer is an excellent option in these cases.

JetStream Enterprise is a file storage program that allows for extremely high speed access to point cloud data for post production work and creates a stand alone exportable viewing file (.jsv) that permits end users to fly through point cloud data in the no cost JetStream Viewer. JetStream Enterprise is commonly used where multiple users need to design from the same point cloud modelspace.
This software was replaced by Cyclone Enterprise.

Map360 is a forensic drawing program that saves files in the .DWG industry standard file type for CAD. The software is produced from MicroSurvey and is part of the Leica Incident Mapping Suite. Production of 2D and 3D deliverables from HDS scan data, tape measures, total stations and UAV data are common data sources are united in a single program for analysis.

Pack&Go is a free program that preserves embedded hot linked computer file paths to digital assets (photos / PDF) that were annotated into TruView deliverables.
The Pack&Go program accesses the master TruView file and then copies all embedded assets and updates the html paths. Asset copies are placed in a new Shared Data folder.
The Pack&Go program can be used to bundle digital assets and push TruViews into a TVG file for uploading to the TruView Enterprise or Subscription accounts that have annotated sitemap images with logo or text.

TruView is viewer that can be installed on a windows computer or streamed to any browser if the point cloud data is hosted online.

The free viewer opens the LGS files and allows users to navigate the point cloud model by viewing from station positions, flying from location to location, opening embedded GeoTag images or files and allows for drag and drop of .obj or .ifc models into the modelspace.
The users can view, annotate, markup, and share point cloud data by saving their markups. TruView files are produced using the Cyclone Publisher and Publisher Pro Licensed Module in Cyclone Register or Register 360. VR viewing using the STEAM software is supported in v 2022.0.1 using approved VR hardware. See program Help under VR for brands supported.

TruView Enterprise can be installed on a server allowing TruViews to be viewed on a variety of computers, tablets and phones. There are two Enterprise solutions where the data is hosted on a cloud based commercial server or the TV Enterprise software is installed on a company server.

A rapid solution to share point cloud data is through a yearly subscription of a TruView account that is setup via your Cyclone Cloud account. The TV subscription is available in 250 scan increments and requires no IT support to create your virtually hosted TruView web sharing site. TruViews can be view on mobile phones, tablets, and web browsers.

The legacy TruView is a no cost viewer. It requires Microsoft Internet Explorer Browser to open a Sitemap.html file. A small plug-in (software) must be loaded to Internet Explorer and enabled the first time a TruView is opened on a computer. A Legacy TruView can be saved to disk, thumb drive, or shared on a network. As windows stopped supporting Active Content in the browser it is recommended users move to the new TruView viewer and produce LGS files for distribution.
The TruView legacy is no longer supported but is used to view legacy TruView published deliverables.
