**Parents,

Here is a video to help you understand the R.A.C.E. Strategy we use in the classroom to teach our students to answer a prompt in complete thought. As we move through the year we continue to use this strategy, and build upon it.

The first two weeks of school we will be really focused on this strategy. We will be practicing the skill weekly within our Wonders curriculum, on top of doing our Genre writing (Narrative, Opinion, and Informational writing).

Our first Genre writing will be : Personal Narratives.
