Hi! My name is Jenn Lansford and I'm excited to say that this will be my tenth year teaching at LFCS! Before returning to the classroom full-time, I spent two years substitute teaching here and have had the privilege to meet quite a few students while spending time in many classrooms. I am excited to return to teaching after a long absence where I helped raise two beautiful girls with my wonderful husband. My youngest daughter will be starting as a freshman at Point Loma Nazarene University in the fall and my oldest will be working here at LFCS this year! Before I became a mom I attended Point Loma Nazarene University where I received my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and then continued on to National University to receive my teaching credential. I taught in the Cajon Valley School District as a Literacy Support teacher as well as a Kindergarten teacher.
I've always had a passion for teaching and have found ways to share my passion while not in the classroom. A large part of my summer every year is spent at a beach based summer camp called Camp Able. It's located in Coronado and services the disabled community. We take our campers sailing, canoeing, paddle boarding, and my personal favorite boogie boarding! It is something that I love to share with my children, and I love even more watching them grow empathetic hearts.
I look forward to getting to know you and your wonderful families this year and sharing this exciting journey with you!
This is going to be great!
