Mr. Dorsey

Hi 6th graders!  My name is Mr. Dorsey and I was born and raised in the heart of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in a little town called Truckee, CA.  I grew up playing in the snow, the water, and every possible sport you could think of.  I grew up loving to be outdoors, and because of that I developed a passion for landscape photography.

Before finishing college, I took an internship for Walt Disney World in Florida.  I started as a photographer and eventually became a trainer.  It was there where I found my love for teaching others and the joy I got seeing others learn.  While working at Walt Disney World, I met my wife.  We lived in Florida for a few years before deciding to move to San Diego.

I now have two beautiful children named Emily and Luke.  We all enjoy going to the beach, camping, Legoland, and spending time with each other.
