Homework is to be done at home.
If homework is turned in late, it is -10 points per day it is late.
Your child is expected to fill out a READING LOG. A parent signature is required each night your child reads. Your child is required to read 5 of 7 days each week. Nightly assigned time is 25 minutes (or more). This will be assigned every Monday, and it is due the following Monday. If your child forgets his/ her Reading Log they may use their Agenda Pad instead to write the title of the book, author, pages read, and parent signature.
TIPS FOR SUCCESS
Check the Parent Portal, weekly, to know your child's current ELA grade.
Check and sign the Reading Log nightly.
Have your child bring his/ her agenda to class and home each night.
