Hello! I am the Physical Education Teacher at Dutch Fork Elementary. This is my 5th year teaching full time at DFES. Before joining the Fox Cub Family, I was a traveling PE teacher in the district for 4 years. I moved to the Columbia area in 2017 after teaching in Charleston, SC for 3 years. I grew up in a small town in upstate NY playing 3 sports; soccer, basketball, and softball. My husband, our 2 daughters; Poppy and Peyton, and our 2 dogs love to play outside and take walks.
This month in PE:
As we welcome our students back to school, the first few times they visit the gym for PE class we will work on establishing our routines, reviewing expectations, learning about team building.
Please encourage your student(s) to wear safe and appropriate footwear on their scheduled PE days.
