Welcome to Music! My name is Felicia Bulgozdy and and this is my 9th year teaching at DFES.  Prior to my time at DFES, I taught middle school band and chorus for 10 years in another district.  I’ve earned a Bachelor’s and a Doctoral Degree from University of South Carolina, as well as a Master’s Degree from Columbia College.

I love sharing my love of music and performance with my students.  When I’m not at DFES, you can find me sewing, crocheting, or cooking. I’ve been so proud of our students and all of the hard work they have put into being performers, and I know that this is going to be another amazing year.

Kindergarten is learning about different ways to use our voice.

First and Second grades are learning about meters of 2, 3, and 4.

Third grade is learning about singing using call and response, and the musical alphabet.

Fourth grade is learning about using both the head and chest voice to sing, as well as canons and Disco.

Fifth grade is learning about syncopation, Reggae, and its relationship to American Music.
