Accommodations Deadline and Consent form

The deadline for submitting a request for accommodations for May AP Testing is January 18, 2024

Students with a documented disability can apply for accommodations when taking an AP exam.  An IEP or 504 from LHS does not automatically qualify you for accommodations. Please read the information below from College Board and contact SSD Coordinator at LHS, Ms. Danielle Ballou, dballou@lexingtonma.org.

If you have previously been approved by the College Board for testing accommodations (for example, when you took the PSAT/NMSQT or SAT), you do not need to submit a new request.

Testing Accommodations

If you have a documented disability, you may be eligible for accommodations on the AP Exams such as:

Requesting Accommodations

Fill out the following request form and email them to dballou@lexingtonma.org

Next Steps

You are your own best advocate for ensuring that you receive the testing accommodations you need; this means that you, the student, are also responsible for following through on the required procedures. Discuss your needs with Ms. Ballou as early as possible before the deadlines, and then confirm with her that everything has been submitted. You share the responsibility for ensuring that your accommodations request has been submitted — and approved — and that you will receive the accommodations you need.
