The Congress of Vienna was a series of diplomatic meetings held from 1814-1815 between different European delegations to establish a new political and legal order following the downfall of Napoleon I. In this committee, delegations aimed to further their own personal goals, along with the collective goals to re-establish peace, restore traditional monarchies, and contain liberalism and nationalism, which they viewed as harmful to the stability of Europe.
