YOU MAY drop two boxes total from your mandatory boxes. (for example: you may not want to use an -ly adverb opener in one paragraph and drop a clausal opener in another paragraph).

WEEK 2 HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS Sept. 15 - 18, 2023
LESSON 4: Writing Homework Written Exercise p. 26
Read, again, pages 23-26 to understand the assignment. Remember that you are to write about a person (not a pet or a fictional character). You should have an introduction, a body, and a conclusion - at least 4-5 paragraphs when complete. You MUST have a rough draft and a final draft stapled together to hand in. The purpose of the rough draft is for you to edit your work (punctuation, spelling, grammar, and meaning) before completing your best copy. You are limiting your sketch to a few admirable qualities. Remember to give examples or incidents to back up your statements and opinions.
Write neatly or type your work. Sloppy work will be returned for a redo minus points. Have your work stapled and ready to hand in - final copy on top and rough draft second. Parents do not grade the writing assignments! Of course, if you could always benefit from a quick read through and from some pointers from a parent.
Put the following on the LEFT TOP side of your stapled paper.
