Thanks to Princeton Review, Mid-Carolina AHEC Inc. can provide free, self-paced test preparation sessions for the SAT/ACT. Mid-Carolina AHEC Inc. goal is to support students in pursuing health professions in South Carolina. This invitation is designed to foster academic success, career development, and personal growth.
Mid-Carolina AHEC Inc. are pleased to extend this opportunity to students within our regions. To receive the code for the test prep, please complete the following steps:
Join the Test Prep Forms Submission Google Classroom: Use the class code yffjzx5.
Complete a minimum of 5 Online Modules and submit a screenshot of the completed module certificate under assignments Module 1-5. Instructions to access the modules are found under the Classwork Section.
Fill Out the Student Information Google Form: Confirm your personal information through this form.

After fulfilling these requirements, you will receive the link for your chosen test prep course.

A pathway to the Michelin Tech Scholar program, the Michelin Maintenance Early Scholars program offers opportunities for select high school students in South Carolina, to acquire job-related education in advanced manufacturing while gaining hands-on experience at a Michelin facility through a paid youth apprenticeship.
Overview of Michelin Maintenance Early Scholar
10th graders show interest in the Michelin Maintenance Reliability Technician and in Lexington Technology's Mechatronics Pathway.
Interested 10th graders complete the Early Scholar Application Packet that will be handed out at information session and is linked to this site. Hard deadline - February 5th, 2027(Application is entry into testing)
10th graders will test on February 11th, 2027 at 9:00 am at LTC, but DO NOT have to be successful to become eligible for MES. This is just to see where they are in their technical reasoning.
Students who turned in completed packets and took the test will then receive invites for interviews, (a parent/guardian must attend). Interviews will be based on 5 areas:
Maturity
Safety
Team Work/Conflict
Work Experience
Motivation
Successful MES Candidates will begin working the summer of their Junior year, taking Mechatronics Pathway at LTC and working 9 hours a week at Lexington Michelin plant.
Senior year the students will continue the Mechatronics pathway while working 12 hours at the Lexington Michelin Plant.
MES will make $14-$16 based on where they are with tenure in the program.
This is a direct pathway to the Michelin Technical Scholars Program for college (2year Technical Degree) as long as the student passes the aptitude test by end of their senior year.
MES must be 16 years of age with documentation to work in US and must have their own transportation to and from the plant to school by the beginning of their Junior Fall Semester. (Students will not be allowed to start during the summer if they are not 16 year old.)
Application is due by February 5th, 2027 to test on February 11th, 2027.
This is the only way a 10th grader will be able to test, by submitting an application.
