Susan, her father, and her two children graduated from Lexington High School. After completing high school, she attended the University of South Carolina, where she double-majored in Political Science and Public Relations. With nine years of experience as a career specialist in Lexington One, she is pleased to be a part of the WKHS Pack.
She is passionate about helping students identify their interests, passions, and skills and discover potential careers. Susan has two adult children. She is a Master Gardener and enjoys gardening, landscape architecture, baking, land conservation, and historic preservation.
Her favorite saying is a quote by Dr. James Comer. “No significant learning can occur without a significant relationship.”

The Career Shop aims to assist students in identifying post-high school goals and plans, to include two-year school, 4-year school, military or straight to work options. We use various career assessments and provide job shadowing and internship experiences for students, in order to determine careers that are best fits for their talents and giftedness.
