What does a school counselor do?
School counselors are educators uniquely trained in child and adolescent development, learning strategies, self-management and social skills who understand and promote the success for today's diverse students. School counselors implement a comprehensive school counseling program that aligns with the state and national goals as well as aligns with the schools mission.
