The ACT test is a standardized test used for most colleges, universities for admissions and scholarships. The state of Illinois has moved back to the ACT beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. All juniors will be required to take this test in the spring, free of charge through the school.
Additionally, students can choose to take the ACT on their own on any national testing date.
Cost for the test varies beginning at $68.
Some students may qualify for a fee waiver. Please see here for fee waiver.
Just like the ACT, the SAT is also a standardized test used for college admissions, scholarships and more. This test is an optional test for students to take on their own. Students can register at CollegeBoard
