My name is Caitlin Vaughn and I am so excited about spending this school year in third grade! I am an honor graduate of the University of South Carolina Beaufort, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. While attending USCB, I was also the captain of the softball team, go sand sharks! I became an honor graduate of Walden University in April of 2016, where I earned a Master's of Science Degree in Education with a concentration in Reading and Literacy. In 2016, I was lucky enough to create and be the coach for our first ever boys' basketball team at HWES (partnered with Seven Oaks Park). At Harbison West, I am also a part of Project Au-Some and the Extra Inning club. I have been a part of the Harbison West faculty since February of 2014 and this will be my eighth year in third grade. For the 2018-2019 school year, I was honored to be selected as the Teacher of the Year.
