In Unit 1: Foundations in Geometry, students will be:

~ naming and classifying angles.

~ using inductive and deductive reasoning to make conjectures.

~ using the Ruler and Segment Addition Postulates to find the measure of line segments.

~ using the Protractor and Angle Addition Postulate to find angle measures.

~using the midpoint formula to find the midpoint of a segment on a coordinate plane.

~ using the distance formula to find the length of a segment on a coordinate plane.
