The Letran Community celebrated and recognized the historical buildings of the Colegio as an essential cultural treasure; the event was entitled “Pasinaya ng Palatandaan ng Pagkilala sa mga Gusali ng Colegio de San Juan de Letran bilang Mahalagang Yamang Pangkalinangan” held on March 31, 2023, Friday. 

Administrators, alumni, and faculty members of the Colegio attended the said gathering in their Filipiniana and barong tagalog. 

The program started on the facade with the unveiling and blessing of the marker by Fr. Clarence Marquez, OP. Afterward, a performance by the Letran Filipiniana Dance Company welcomed the audience as they entered the Colegio. More so, framed pictures of the Colegio’s historical buildings were also seen in the Salon de Actos to get a glimpse of the rich memories of the Colegio, while being serenaded by the Letran Singing Ambassadors with their prepared original Filipino songs, which they dedicated for the said historical event. 

Indeed, Letran truly progressed not only in sports, research and  academics but also contributed to our country's rich history and culture as the years passed.
