Tuesday, November 22, 2022 – There is no gain without sweat. Exercising is an energizing way to start the day. We all want to be healthy because being sick is highly priced and hectic these days.
The faculty members and the administrators conducted a Zumba session at the Letran grounds to start its second day as part of the celebration of Colegio Week. With each beat of the song, our bodies groove, and extract negative energy while burning calories, and blasting fats away.
Not only was it fun and entertaining to dance to K-pop and Tiktok trends, but there were also awards given to those who were the best female and male performers, best male and female participants, and best dressed for females, and males. On top of that, the best female and male student participants were given a total of PHP 1,000 monetary award that is sponsored by the Gender and Development (GAD) department of the Colegio.
As for the special awards, the senior high school department took it to another level as members of their faculty and students rose to the top. The Best Performer award was given to Ms. Maria Jessa Tenero for female and Mr. Jorell Melejor for male, both from the Letran SHS Faculty. As for the Best-Dressed award, this was granted to Ms. Audrey Joyce Marcelo for female and Mr. John Christopher Mesana for male. Lastly, the students who brought home the prize that everyone had their eyes on, the PHP 1000 cash for the Best Student Performers, were Jennylyn Roma and Miguel Jao.
