Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., also known as BBM, filed his candidacy for the 2022 Philippine presidential election under "Partido Federal ng Pilipinas". Last October 6, 2021 marked the beginning of Bongbong Marcos' presidential campaign. He is both the son and namesake of former president, Mr. Ferdinand Marcos. 

BBM was born on the 13th of September 1957. He studied at La Salle Green Hills (1969), went to Worth School (1970-1974), University of Oxford (1975-1978), and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

BBM was involved in politics at an early age, yet he proved and contributed a lot to our country. He was a Congressman for six years (1992-1995, 2007-2010), a Senator for six years (2010-2016), a Vice Governor for three years (1980-1983), and a Governor for 12 years (1983-1986, 1998-2007). With his years in politics, he made Ilocos Norte a recognized International First-Class Province. He also helped in providing the alternative source of energy in Ilocos and some parts of Northern Luzon. He also authored and co-authored 56 bills that are passed into law.

Running and supporting beside him is the partylist’s Vice President, Mayor Sara Zimmeran Duterte-Carpio, a 43 year-old Filipina lawyer and politician serving as the current mayor of Davao City. She was born on May 31, 1978 and with her fierce and independent character, Mayor Sara ensured the safety and betterment of Davao City. She studied at San Sebastian College-Recoletos, San Pedro College, and San Beda University. Sara Duterte also proved that she does not always need her father to prove that she is worthy of her position as Mayor. Her bravery and strength is what makes her stand out among the others.

This upcoming election, BBM and Inday Sara will prove to the Filipino citizens that they are worthy of their trust and votes. They will stand proud whatever the people say. Win or lose, this tandem will surely fight to capture the hearts of the Filipino people, together with the knives of issues and complaints that are thrown to them.
