Red scarves out for Taylor Swift!

The day began burning red as Taylor Swift released her re-recorded album “Red (Taylor’s Version)” last November 12, 2021. The world went wild and crazy for the re-recorded album as it broke over 2 Spotify records on its initial release, garnering over 122.9 million streams the same day.

The release of the re-recorded album by Taylor Swift was part of her journey to getting ownership over her previous works. Now, “Red (Taylor’s Version)” has been the second re-recorded album of hers to be released to the public, with her previously released re-recorded album “Fearless (Taylor’s Version)” being the first to be put out.

Ever since the announcement of the re-recorded album last June 2021, the singer has released hints, snippets, and teasers for the upcoming release that was planned to be on November 19, 2021, 22 weeks in between the announcement and release date. But it was later moved to an earlier date on November 12, 2021. Ecstatic about the album, fans have had numerous theories about it and opinions on their favorite songs. The album included over 30 songs re-recorded and owned by Taylor Swift. With over 8 new songs and almost everybody looked forward to, the 10 minute version to her song “All Too Well”.


Soon after the release of the re-recorded album, the singer released her much-awaited 15 minute short film “All Too Well: The Short Film”, starring Dylan O’brien and Sadie Sink, directed by Taylor Swift herself. The short film now has over 40 million views on Youtube. She also released the music video to “I Bet You Think About Me” last November 15, 2021. Featured in the music video directed by her great friend, Blake Lively, was her and Miles Teller. In promotion of her re-recorded album, she also appeared and performed on SNL along with interviews on Late Night with Seth Myers and The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.


Some may argue that “Everything Has Changed” in today’s world, but Taylor Swift’s work remains to “Stay, Stay, Stay” as exemplary and astounding as ever. This is why the achievement and recognition that she re-recorded album “Red (Taylor’s Version)” has acquired shouldn’t come as a surprise as we should have known it “All Too Well”.
