I am going to inform you about waste productions and how you can stop it. As well as a lot of facts so you can learn more than you already knew.
Waste production facts
Waste production is affecting the world and I am going to give you three reasons. First, people are suffering from hunger and trying to survive everyday. Second of all littering is really bad and a big part of waste production and it causes pollution. Last of all waste production affects the world's most important things, it affects the Ocean, the people , the air, and the environment. People throw out 1,200 pounds of food every month and people with the privilege to have food just waste it for no reason. Next littering causes pollution and harms the ocean, and kills animals and damages their home. Last of all waste production is affecting the climate and causes water contamination, and it also damages the soil. The last thing I am going to mention is that waste production is really affecting the environment and you should help me stop it by stopping wasting food , and stop littering because that causes severe pollution and it is damaging animals and their territory.
Waste production interviews
I interviewed people and these are the questions I asked them. What do you think about waste production? What do you think you can do to stop waste production? How can waste production affect people? Why do people do that? Do you think waste production is important to stop? Do you think waste production can affect the environment?. For the first question people said it was bad and it is affecting the Earth's Ocean, Animals, and Quality of Air. I interviewed one of my friends and for the first question this is what she said “ It is not really good and in ACS they did it a lot instead of saving it for poor people. This is what the people I interviewed said for the second question. Most of them said save your food and not waste it and save it for leftovers and, also, not to put a lot of food on your plate so you can finish all your food and not waste it and keep doing that and, also, stop littering because, it can cause something bad like pollution and affect other thing in the environment. Now this is what people said for the third question. They said that you are wasting food that poor people can enjoy and eat every day, also you are wasting good food. Almost all of the people I interviewed said that but there was someone I interviewed that gave a good answer, so what they said is that waste production can affect people by them littering and damaging the earth and then when they hear that they are causing pollution they are going to feel guilty and try to stop littering. For question four people said that People buy food that they don’t even eat and waste their money that they could give the poor people for them not to be starving also, one of my friends said something funny, she said because, people are dumb and shouldn’t waste their food and, someone said that when they have their food and their finished with it they don’t know where to put and, they just throw it out but the only thing they could have done is compost. For question five this is what people said. It is important because you are wasting the food that could go to the poor people and people suffering from hunger and then you are wasting all the food you buy. One of my friends said that waste production is an important thing to stop because it is harming the earth and causing world hunger, pollution and other bad things that affect the environment. . This is what people said for the last question. They said it is damaging the earth and important things like the ocean and recycling and making up ways to stop waste production .
How to stop waste production?
In this topic I am going to show you how to stop waste production. There are a lot of ideas to stop it like ,keep recycling, stop littering, and stop wasting food. All of those ways can stop waste production, First, for keep recycling that is a very good idea because, half of the people in the earth don’t care about recycling and throw it in whichever trash can and that is very bad for the earth recycling is basically when for example when you use tap water the plastic bottle can be used again but, if they put it in the wrong trash can like the food can it can not be used again. Second of all in the littering idea it is really important because littering can cause pollution and affects the ocean, animals and other things so, to stop it you just have to stop throwing food on the floor outside or inside. For the the last one is stop wasting food that is a good Idea because, people suffer around the world of hunger and people just waste food but, I think the reason they, do that is because, they don’t know what suffer is, they never felt what it is with no food for days. A way to stop it might be to stop wasting food and just save it for later and try to compost too. It is good for the plants.
Why is waste production bad for the earth ?
Waste production is bad for the earth because, littering is part of waste production and littering can cause, pollution and that is bad because, it damages animals homes,and animals and, it also damages the ocean and the sea creatures territory, and it damages the earth and,makes it hard to breath and also, smoke can cause, pollution and that can also, be part of waste productions smoke is bad for your lungs and can kill people if you breath it everyday. Also, waste production is really bad for the natural habitat andand kills plants, animals and damages that earth. People don’t really care which is bad and, that is why I am telling you why waste production is bad for the earth.

Waste production is really damaging the earth including people around the world that are poor and don’t have a home, suffering from hunger you wouldn’t like to suffer. Waste production can also affect the environment because people litter and that is like wasting food. Littering can cause pollution. You should be more careful and if you see garbage on the floor please pick it up and throw it in the garbage can. In my research and found out that people waste 5.9 million pounds of waste every month. Is this what you want to do to the earth? You are damaging it. When people litter it either goes to the ocean or animals eat it, sickening their body. There are sea animals that have died because of the garbage like single use plastic and it is also damaging sea animals' homes and their territory. Please stop harming their home. A good way to reduce waste production is by recycling, and saving food. I hope this information was helpful and you learned more about waste productions and how to stop it.
Plastic or Reusable

Would you rather use a Plastic or Reusable water bottle? In this article you will learn pros and cons about both and you will get some tips and facts about water bottles .
Why plastic? Why reusable?
Some advantages of plastic water bottles are that plastic water bottles are convenient. Plastic water bottles are convenient because they are lighter than reusable water bottles. They are also convenient because you are able to recycle them when you are finished with the water inside. Plastic water bottles are easy to carry in your backpack pockit without adding as much weight to the bag.They can be given or sold at schools if you forget your water bottle at home. Some disadvantages of plastic water bottles are they contribute to waste.They contribute to waste because some people don’t recycle them and put the bottle in the trash instead of the recycling bin. Plastic water bottles take 450 years to decompose. Another disadvantage of plastic water bottles is that they can be noisy and disruptive because some people tend to crinkle them and bottle flip them. If it is a warm day the water in a plastic water bottle will not stay as cold and ice is not able to be added. Some plastic water bottles have unhealthy chemicals .The last disadvantage is plastic water bottles are easily breakable and sometimes only last one day.
Some advantages of reusable water bottles are they are convenient but they are convenient in different ways than plastic water bottles. Reusable water bottles are convenient because they keep water cold for long periods of time. For a sport or if it is a hot day you have the ability to add ice inside the bottle. Reusable water bottles are beneficial to the environment because people don’t have to replace them as often this will also save money because buying multiple plastic water bottles in total will cost more than one reusable water bottle. Reusable water bottles can be used for a long time before wearing out. Reusable water bottles are usually free of unhealthy chemicals. The last advantage of reusable water bottles are they come in all different sizes and shapes to fit your needs. Some disadvantages of reusable water bottles are that to use them again you must clean them after using them. The straw pieces [if there is one] can get chewed up. Reusable water bottles can be heavy at times too which is not great if you are carrying them around alot. The last disadvantage is some reusable water bottles are very expensive but as you now know will cost less than multiple plastic water bottles.
Do you have a favorite water type plastic or reusable? Here are some favorite reusable water bottles. Nalgene REI water bottles are good for storing lots of water on a hike or for playing a sport. S’well water bottles are amazing for everyday use. Hydro flasks,YETI water bottles and thermo flasks are amazing water bottles because they keep the liquid inside the temperature wanted.
Here is a fact about water bottles: the first one is in one week a water filter by the fifth grade wing saves about 8388 water bottles in one week.
Very old tree is finally recognized in Leonia!!

205 Oratam Terrace, Huge black Oak that just got recognized as the 3rd biggest black oak in New Jersey and the largest in Bergen county.
It is 103 feet tall and it is 15 feet around the trunk of the tree.
If someone were to cut down the landmark tree they would have to pay a very large fine.
Most black oaks grow 60-80 feet tall but this one has groun 103 feet.
This tree has been around longer than America has been a free country.
It has been around 250-300 years old and you never know, George Washington probably sat under that tree many years ago when the American revolutionary war was going on.
