The Transitional Aid for Families with Dependent Children (TAFDC) provides cash and medical assistance to needy families with dependent children, including pregnant women, to help them meet their children's basic needs. Families with at least one child under 18 years of age living in the home. Must meet financial requirements, have a social security number. Must be a U.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen and be a resident of Massachusetts.
