Culinary Arts
Introduction
Culinary Arts' main goal is to provide the students the skills necessary to enter the work field or to continue on to a higher education. Students will acquire a combination of occupational training and academic excellence, which provides the best possible job preparation for the students. In addition, students are encouraged to look at themselves in terms of their own values and goals. Students will have the one-on-one opportunity to train with a program instructor on the latest equipment.
The Culinary Arts program is a hands-on operation running both an upscale restaurant and retail bakery. The students in the program are responsible for the day-to-day operation of production and procedures, which are comparable to industry standards, with instructions and guidance from certified teachers.
