Aligned with the Massachusetts DESE Information Support Services and Networking standards, our IT Shop curriculum prepares students for dynamic careers in technology through knowledge transfer and hands-on training in computer hardware, operating systems, networking fundamentals, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and help desk support. Students build industry-aligned skills while preparing to earn recognized credentials, including CompTIA Tech+, A+, Network+, and Security+ certifications. Applying their learning in a real-world operational environment, students work directly in our on-site CTEi IT Support office—diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing computer hardware to support the technology needs of the entire CTEi school community.
