Writing - We have been inspired by the story Katie and the Waterlily Pond. We planned and wrote our own part of the story and compared two stories by the same author.

Reading - We have been practising reading and spelling words ending in le and looking at how words ending in y change when the suffixes -er / -est are added.

Maths - We solved mass problems involving addition and subtraction and completed assessments to review all of our learning related to measurement.

Our Community Project: We found out about the life and works of John Piper - an artist who was born in Epsom. We created fact files about him and completed our own artwork, inspired by his style and techniques.

Science - We completed the final lesson related to staying healthy. We presented information about staying healthy on a jamboard for younger children.

PSHE - We have been working cooperatively to create an imaginary dream bird that might live in the garden of dreams and goals and reflecting on how working cooperatively can help us to achieve things together.

Computing - We took part in Safer Internet Day and explored respect and relationships online.
