To book a place, go to LEOsportscamps.clubsbuddy.net. Register on the Parent Form, complete the Child Registration Form, and then select your required venue. You can book for individual days or for the whole week. Bookings are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis and will only be taken if all outstanding fees have been paid.
What should my child bring to the sports camp, and what are the rules regarding clothing?
Children should bring a packed lunch and a water bottle. They need to be dressed appropriately for sports activities, including a coat as outdoor time is planned. Jewellery and watches are not allowed. Parents should apply long-lasting sunscreen before attending each morning, and medication can only be administered with written parental consent.
What are the late collection policies, and what happens if I am late to collect my child?
Children must be collected promptly at 3:00 pm. Late collection fees apply: £5.00 for 3:06-3:10 pm, £7.50 for 3:11-3:15 pm, and £15.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter. If there is an emergency that will cause you to be late, contact the lead sports coach. If after 3:30pm, the leader cannot contact any person detailed on the emergency contact list, the duty social worker will be contacted to make alternative care arrangements.
How does LEO Sports Camp handle children with Special Educational Needs (SEND)?
LEO Sports Camps welcome children of all abilities and are committed to working with parents and schools to accommodate children with SEND. They can adapt activities, provide visual aids, offer sensory breaks, and make other reasonable adjustments. If a child's needs are too complex (e.g., needing one-to-one support, if the environment poses a safety risk, or needing a specialised program), LEO may discuss alternative options and provide information on local after-school and holiday programs and/or childminders who may be better equipped to support the child.
What are the refund and absence policies, and what should I do if my child is sick or there is an unexpected closure?
Refunds are not given for non-attendance. Charges apply for all booked sessions, even for absences due to illness, holidays, or medical appointments. You cannot swap sessions or receive a credit note. If your child is sick, contact the camp and do not send them until they have been well for 24 hours. In the event of an unexpected closure, parents will be contacted, and a decision on charges will be made by the Director of Sport and the Trust CEO, depending on the circumstances.
