It's been a busy and exciting couple of weeks in Year 5! In English, we've been delving into "The Explorer" and gathering notes for our upcoming book reviews. To get creative, we even made some fantastic trailers to showcase the story! Maths has challenged our brains with long multiplication, factors, and prime numbers. In Geography, we finished exploring the wonders (and challenges!) of deserts, even debating whether we'd choose to live there ourselves. Last week, we celebrated Arts Week in style, each creating a unique rainforest-themed artwork. And finally, in Science, we're turning into mini-scientists, gathering and plotting data from our very own asteroid experiment.
The icing on the cake? This term's learning really came alive today with a visit from Animals UK! The children had a brilliant time meeting some amazing creatures, making the perfect ending to our "Explorer" adventures and our rainforest art projects in a way they'll never forget!
