National School Sports Week - Athlete Visit 

As part of the National School Sports Week activities, we are very excited to be welcoming Ex- boxer Hannah Beharry to the school on Friday 23rd  June 2023. 

Hannah became one of the most prominent female boxers in the UK. Her achievements include, No. 1 British Female Boxer in the UK for 9 years, 2 x European Boxing Champion, Ranked no. 3 worldwide and one of the first women to box for Great Britain.

You will receive a sponsorship form for your child to use in order to help raise money for the event. You can also sponsor your child online by scanning the QR code on the form. This will direct you to the Sports for champions UK page, where you can search for our school and set up a page for your child. When making donations online, please write details on the online form, so that it is clear how much each child has raised. 

As the sponsorship form and online sponsorship page explain, much of the money that is raised will be used to improve physical activity for the school, while also supporting GB athletes (including Paralympic athletes). All children will participate in the event, regardless of money raised. There is no obligation to raise sponsorship money. 

To ensure any thank you gifts can be given to the children, please can all sponsorship forms and money be returned to the school office by Wednesday 21st June 2023. Please put money into a named envelope before returning and a total amount raised, including anything online. The online donations will also remain open until Wednesday 21st June  2023. 

We appreciate that not all families are able to raise funds, we ensure all children are involved in the event and receive a free sticker regardless of whether they are sponsored.
