Beginning this year, pre-CHOICE applications for the AICE program will be completed through Focus beginning on January 20, 2026.
January 20, 2026 - February 2, 2026: Applications must be completed in FOCUS for the appropriate school(s) in your residential zone.
February 3, 2026 - February 13, 2026: Schools audition/evaluate students and mark them as accept/deny.
February 19, 2026: In FOCUS, parent(s)/guardian(s) can view their student’s acceptance or denial into a magnet program. A student may receive acceptance from more than one school/program.
February 19, 2026-February 24, 2026: Parent(s)/guardian(s) must indicate their student’s final decision in FOCUS either to ‘select’ or ‘decline’ enrollment in only one magnet program of study.

Log into FOCUS Parent Portal
Go to Forms
Select HS Advanced Programs and Arts Application
Complete application & click Submit Request
Step 2: February 19-24, 2026
Log into FOCUS Parent Portal
Notification to view pending form
View acceptance and/or denial information
Make final decision to select or decline a program(s)
Click Submit & Finish
To be considered for acceptance in the AICE program, students must meet the following academic qualifications:
• most recent FAST Math Score of 3 or higher
• most recent FAST Reading Score of 3 or higher
• an unweighted cumulative middle school GPA ≥ 3.0
