I absolutely love Quarry Hill and can honestly say that every day I enjoy coming into work. I love it because the colleagues here are amazing and are always on your side and willing you to be brilliant, and I love spending time with you all, you can be hilarious!
I am a massive advocate of being an 'upstander'. I want everyone who works or studies at Quarry Hill to step up and step in if they hear or see something that is not OK. I think this will ensure we can all have huge amounts of fun together.
I have the most amount of fun when I'm holiday in Benidorm, often found dancing on tables...
I oversee the social science departments and love to see young people develop their skills, friendships and career ambitions at college. Our students make working in a college exciting - never a dull moment. I also love to walk my crazy springer spaniels and drink tea.
I wander round the campus singing to myself whilst checking ID badges. Usually found in the Creative Arts departments I directly look after Music, Performing Arts and Theatre Design and Production
I'm a gamer, slow runner and biscuit expert. I can also geek out about Star Wars, Terry Pratchett and Lord of the Rings with no invitation.
Having always worked within the creative sector, my role is to provide an environment where students can work within an inspirational department and be taught by a dynamic and enthusiastic team. I am a chatterer and a problem solver and I am always keen to know how you are.
My role is to provide opportunities to learners who wish to work within the health or social care sector. People are my passion - be that the staff team who are here to support you, you our learners or the future service users you may encounter. I want people to care and be supported to be the best version of themselves.
Our role is to support you in achieving your aspirations of joining the emergency services or armed forces. Working in collaboration with all services, we provide bespoke and exciting engagement opportunities that you won't find anywhere else!
I am extremely proud to be working as part of the fantastic team within the department of Education and Early Years, and Counselling. As a team, we are kind, supportive and fun. Nothing makes me happier than to see our learners develop into confident, accomplished individuals who progress into the workforce. At college you will see me chatting, eating chocolate and ensuring badges are worn. Away from college, I walk Jeffrey and chat with Neil (my pond newt).
My role is to give every learner in Creative Media and Digital Arts empowering learning opportunities with expert teaching teams. I am passionate about nurturing the talents of each and every student to ensure they fulfil their potential. Nothing makes me prouder than to see our learners develop into confident, accomplished individuals.

School administration is where all the roads of the campus meet, be it Social Science or Creative Arts, we are the first port of call for queries that come from our students each day including bursaries, DBS checks, and letters to be sent out to third parties.
We handle all queries a student might think of and on the rare exception we aren’t involved, we will know where you need to go.
My role is to support curriculum teams to identify and remove potential barriers to learning for all learners, and promote a friendly safe learning environment where learners can achieve their full potential.
