Third grade is an exciting year filled with major growth, learning, and new challenges! Students will become more independent learners while building important academic and organizational skills. You can expect your child to read more complex books, strengthen their writing and comprehension skills, develop multiplication and division strategies, and explore new concepts in science and social studies. We will also focus on important life skills such as responsibility, self-awareness, organization, problem-solving, perseverance, and working well with others.
Third grade is a big year of growth, and there may be times when your child feels challenged. That is completely normal! Our goal is to help every student take risks, learn from mistakes, celebrate their progress, and become a confident and independent learner. We will work together throughout the year to help your child have a successful and rewarding third-grade experience!
