Mrs. Blaydes' Third Grade Class

All About Me
Welcome to Third Grade! I am so excited to be your child's third grade teacher this year. Although I am new to the Lebanon Township School District, I am not new to teaching. Five years ago I decided to make a career change and become a teacher.
In my previous career, I planned and executed events and supported programming for the Rutgers Business School Undergraduate Program in New Brunswick, NJ. As much as I enjoyed working with the college students and mentoring them in an important phase in their life, I always felt something was missing. Ultimately I felt an inner calling to inspire the young and vulnerable minds of our society. This inner calling has led me to Valley View School and I couldn't be happier to be here.
On a more personal note, my husband and I are proud parents of Madison and Samuel Blaydes and our dog--Ricky Blaydes. I am very close with my family and cherish every moment we have together. I know first-hand how hard it is to be a parent. It truly takes a village to raise a child and I feel so lucky to be a part of your village.
