CER

A CER (Claim, Evidence, Reasoning) allows students to use evidence and scientific information to provide proof that supports a claim they make.

Claim - A one sentence statement that answers a question

Evidence - Scientific data that supports your claim (at least 3 pieces of evidence from an experiment or online simulation)

Reasoning - Connects your evidence to your claim using scientific concepts
