Student accounts update - (Sept 14, 2021)
Accounts for K-6 and new students to the district 7-12 have been shared with administrators by the Tech Centre (ITC) as of Tuesday, September 14.
Administrators have the ability to download the spreadsheet for their school and email to teachers or email it to another staff member who then takes care of the distribution.
All previous accounts for Gr. 7-12 are available. To reset passwords, see the blue banner below.
If new students to the district are not on the spreadsheet please use the blue banner below.
STUDENT ACCOUNTS - Google Workspace for Education (Learn34 Google)
Click the blue button below, labelled STUDENT ACCOUNT HELP to begin.
For this to work you must be signed in to your own Learn34 account. One way to do this is to go to drive.google.com and sign in with your Learn34 account before clicking on the blue button.
The blue "Student Account Help" button is for new accounts as well as passphrase resets.
Your abbyschools.ca account will receive an email when your request has been processed. Each school may have one or more teachers or administrators with passphrase reset capability. Email Gary Toews if this is needed in your school.
Parent and student consent is required to use Google for Education. Click here for consent forms.
STAFF ACCOUNTS - Google Workspace for Education (Learn34 Google)
Staff refers to every employee in the district regardless of role. Please email helpdesk@abbyschools.ca for assistance with your Learn34 Google account using your abbyschools.ca email address.
Log out of personal Google accounts before logging in to your Learn34 Google account; keep private data to a minimum in Google; use Google for teaching and learning and Office 365 OneDrive for private files such as report card data
Student teachers are also eligible for learn34.com accounts. School admin or designate, e.g. sponsor teacher, should contact helpdesk@abbyschools.ca with the information.
