Teachers can use the "Shorts" section to create quick videos (max 10 mins) with a link they can post in Google Classroom, Seesaw, their classwebsite, etc.. "Shorts" has a whiteboard feature too - so you can demonstrate math concepts or draw out instructions. Teachers can also create groups (formerly known as "grids") and topics - posing a question and giving students quick way to post a video response. Option to allow students to see their classmates responses or keep it private.

Make a Mixtape!
Once your students have uploaded their projects, maybe you want to make a Mixtape of all of the responses to share out. Here's how!
Google Slides + FlipGrid + MixTape!

Student creates a Google slide with a background image and text and downloads it as a jpeg
Teacher creates a FlipGrid Group and Topic and assigns it in Google Classroom
Student opens the Classroom Assignment
Student Clicks to Add a Response and chooses "Effects"
Student uploads the jpeg and stretches it to fill the screen
Student would read their poem or opinion or ???
After students have all submitted, Teacher will create a Mix Tape and share the code so that all the responses play in a "loop". (See previous video for this)
