Capstone

What is Capstone?

Capstone is an opportunity for Grade 12 students to share and reflect on the process of who they are becoming as individuals transitioning from high school into the real world.

Students will demonstrate that they are ready to graduate by sharing their most meaningful learning experiences, and growth in core competencies that they have acquired during their high school journey.

The Capstone process will allow students to articulate how these skills and competencies have informed their career exploration and pathway as they transition out of high school on to the next part of their journey as they leave OKM.

"From my perspective, the processes you are using to prepare your students to authentically reflect on the competencies they have developed during their time at OKM is accomplishing much more that the fulfillment of the Capstone requirements and their post K-12 planning.
