What is the Modular Farm?

The KLO Modular Farm is a fully automated hydroponic growing system inside a 40-foot shipping container on Ecole KLO Middle School's site. 

The Modular farm came to KLO from the President's Choice Children's Charity Power Full Kids Future Growers program. The goal of this program is to "link the production of food with the culture and traditions of the people who consume it."  -PC Children's Charity

Power Full Kids Future Growers has provided the Modular Farm to KLO Middle to ensure kids have access to food to feed their bodies and new learning experiences to feed their minds.  Our hope is to educate students, connect with the community and work towards a hunger free world for kids. We're proud to work with Power Full Kids Future Growers to provide the opportunity to more schools to have access to one of these farms.
